Trail Photography Webinar


Hike Nova Scotia's Trail Photography webinar is geared for those who want to take better photos on the trail with a smartphone or other cameras. It will be offered at 7 pm on Tuesday, November 9.

Join Adam Hill of Destination Cape Breton as he instructs you on how to best use your iPhone for photography. During this webinar, Adam will talk about the functions available to you in your native camera app, composition techniques and editing software. Adam will leave a 15/20 period free for Q&A. Instruction will be weighted to iPhones and outdoor photography. 

Note: This is a live webinar only; there will be no recording available afterward. If you miss it, don’t worry, we plan to offer this webinar regularly.

Presenter
Adam Hill is a professional nature photographer based out of Cape Breton Island. Adam is an avid outdoorsman often found on hiking trails waiting for wildlife or the right light to compliment the landscape. His work has been featured in National Geographic Traveller, Elle Décor, Travel and Leisure, The Canadian Mint, Canada Post and more. Adam is a Content Marketing Officer at Destination Cape Breton.

It is offered in partnership with Destination Cape Breton and the Department of Communities, Culture, Tourism and Heritage.

Cost
Registration is required in advance. It is free for Hike NS paid members and $20 for non-members (who then receive a free one-year individual membership). There is a liimited number of spots available. 

Note: We recommend participating in the webinar electronically through your computer or device. If you experience audio or video issues, you can call-in in addition to or instead of electronically. Please note that, if you call-in, long distance charges will apply according to whatever arrangement you have with your telecommunications provider.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Hike NS requires one day of notice in order to reimburse anyone who wishes to cancel their registration (by 7 pm the day before the webinar). Sometimes Hike NS must cancel a webinar due to instructor illness, low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstance. If Hike NS has to cancel the webinar, you will be contacted as soon as possible and will be fully reimbursed. You will not be reimbursed if you missed the webinar because you could not find the webinar link. After registration you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the webinar.
