Presenter
Blair Doyle has been involved in Ground Search and Rescue since 1988 and held differing leadership roles with Halifax Regional SAR, currently acting as Search Director since 2008. As an active SAR responder Blair teaches all aspects of wilderness rescue practices including the Search Management and Lost Person Behaviour courses to its personnel and police. HSAR networks nationally with teams across the country, one of the programs it utilizes is Adventuresmart.ca for best prevention practices when venturing into the wilderness using whatever means that inspires you. Blair has been owner of Adventure & Safety Atlantic based out of Dartmouth, NS teaching primarily wilderness medical courses through Red Cross, swift water rescue, paddling and other outdoor safety sessions.
